On the afternoon of October 10, the symposium betweenSouthern Regional Management Company of China Rongtong Group and Guizhou University was held in the conference room 311, Xianzheng Building, West Campus. Xia Jianxin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice general manager ofSouthern Regional Management Company, Rongtong Group, and Academician Song Bao'an, presidentof Guizhou University, as well as representatives from relevant departments of both sides participated in the symposium. The symposium was hosted by Zhang Dalin, vice president of Guizhou University.

Xia Jianxin introduced that Rongtong Group is a wholly state-owned commercial company managed by the Central Government, which is financed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. It ranks 10th in the list of state-owned key enterprises supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. The company's cultural philosophy is "to be a good asset manager, supervisor and operator; to build a world-class asset management company; to benefit the country and the people; to be loyal, responsible, pragmatic and innovative". He hoped that his visit to Guizhou University would be an opportunity to strengthen university-enterprise cooperation and promote the development of Guizhou.

Song Bao'an welcomed the arrival of Xia Jianxin and his delegation. He pointed out that Guizhou University has been carrying out university-enterprise cooperation based on the principle of “win-win cooperation”. He expected that both sides can find cooperation opportunities in asset management and other related fields. In his opinion,  focus should be laid on project cooperation in talent training and a talent training base should be established to achieve win-win for both the university and the enterprise, which would further promote Guizhou's economic and social development.
