On November 30th, the signing ceremony of the Framework Agreement between Guizhou Government Offices Administration and Guizhou University, and the unveiling ceremony of Government Offices Research Center of GZU were held in the Multifunctional Lecture Hall of the College of Public Administration. Li Wenhua, member of the party group and deputy director of Guizhou Government Offices Administration, and Wu Pan, vice president of Guizhou University, attended the event and signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. The participants also included some leaders from Guizhou Government Offices Administration, State-owned Assets Management Office, GZU Department of Humanities and Social Sciences and Department of Foreign Cooperation, College of Law, College of Public Administration, College of Big Data and Information Engineering. The ceremony was presided over by Ma Hongmei, dean of College of Public Administration of Guizhou University.

In his speech, Wu Pan noted that the cooperation between government and university provides a new opportunity to build a platform to cultivate and share talents, promotes the long-term development of Guizhou provincial government offices, and further improve the research of policy and development strategy of Guizhou province. Guizhou University, focusing on the goal of “o-construction of government and university, complementary advantages, resource sharing, and win-win cooperation”, will give full play to its advantages of academic research, pool campus resources and conduct deeper theoretical research cooperation at different levels so as to effectively build the Government Offices Research Center of GZU.

Li Wenhua stressed that GZU will, as always, adhere to its motto of “Illustrious Virtue, Utmost Goodness, Extensive Learning, and Earnest Practice” and commit itself to the development of Guizhou province. The establishment of the research center is conducive to the long-term development of the government offices and the university, and a good opportunity to enhance the depth and breadth of the cooperation and pursue the philosophy of the 20th CPC National Congress. He pointed out both sides should focus on tackling the difficulties and problems in the research, constantly optimize the cooperation mechanism, and build the research center into an important platform for theoretical research, talents cultivation and researchers’ communication.

At the ceremony, Wu Pan and Li Wenhua signed the framework agreement on behalf of both parties, and unveiled the research center together with the participants,
