Recently, four GZU teachers and teams have been conferred the Awards for Educational Science Research Progress by the Provincial Department of Education. Li Chuanbing, vice dean of the College of Marxism, and Li Xia, associate professor of the College of Economics, were awarded the first prize. Zhang Chengxia, dean of the College of International Education, Yang Manyun, associate professor of the Mental Health Education and Counseling Center, together with her team, won the third prize.

In the list released, a total of 149 achievements made in the period 2017-2021 were honored with the awards, including 17 first prizes, 50 second prizes, and 82 third prizes. The Awards aim to promote the development of educational science research in Guizhou Province and further enhance the enthusiasm and creativity of the educators in light with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress.
