On December 16th, a meeting was held to summarize the conscription work in 2022 and kick off related work for 2023.
Li Jianjun, secretary of the Party Committee of GZU, Song Bao’an, president of GZU and academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Luo Changjiang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of GZU attended the meeting. The participants also included teachers in charge of conscription in the colleges, representatives of conscription publicity coordinators and representatives of students who wish to enlist in the army. Linghu Caitao, deputy secretary of the Party Committeeof GZU presided over the meeting.
Li Jianjun delivered a speech. He pointed out that with the efforts of departments and colleges of GZU, 245 GZU students joined in army in 2022, the greatest number ever since, which was a gift for the victory of the 20th Party Congress and the 120th anniversary of the founding of GZU.Li highlighted the significance and sense of responsibility of conscription work and urged the implementation of conscription plans in 2023.
Luo Changjiang commended the advanced units and individuals of GZU for the conscription work in 2022. He hoped them to make further efforts to achieve greater progress in the 2023 conscription work.
Linghu Caitao gave a summary of the conscription in 2022 and made arrangements for the conscription in 2023. She recognized the efforts of related personnel and departments in the conscription task in 2022.She said all departments and colleges should coordinate and make greater efforts to ensure the completion of the spring conscription task.
At the meeting, Li Jianjun and Song Bao’an presented awards to the advanced units and advanced individuals for the 2022 conscription work. Luo Changjiang presented appointment letters to the conscription publicity coordinator.
