Recently, the Provincial Department of Education announced the list of “Outstanding Teachers” of 2022 in regular undergraduate institutions of higher education across the province. Twenty teachers from GZU were among the list, all of whom have been prominent frontliners in teaching or backbone teachers engaged in teaching management for many years. In recent years, the university placed greater emphasis on the fundamental role of teachers’ professional ethics. Many platforms and channels, such as bases for cultivating teachers’ ethics, outstanding teachers’ workshops, and training camps for teaching competitions, have been employed by the university to help cultivate excellent teachers. Through a variety of activities that fully demonstrate and promote the advanced teaching philosophies and skills of outstanding teachers and educational experts, the young teachers at GZU have been empowered toward a better composition of ethics and competence, which will also facilitate their professional growth and development.
