On the morning of January 10th, when Chinese Lunar New Year was approaching, Zou Lianke, Deputy Secretary of the Education Working Committee of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Director of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education, and Secretary of the CPC  Committee of the departments directly under the Provincial Department of Education, visited GZU to express his greetings to Academician Song Bao’an, President of GZU. Li Jianjun, Secretary of the CPC Committee of GZU, and Zhang Dalin, Vice President of GZU, accompanied Zou and his fellow colleagues during the visit. 

In the conference room 302, Number 1 Block of the Xianzheng Building, West Campus, Zou Lianke, on behalf of the Education Working Committee of the CPC Provincial Committee, the Party Leading Group of the Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Department of Education, extended his sincere greetings and Spring Festival wishes to Academician Song Bao’an, and expressed his admiration and gratitude for Academician Song Bao’an’s spirit of taking root in Guizhou and serving Guizhou for decades. He said that in recent years, Guizhou University has made outstanding achievements and positive contributions in scientific research, talent training and local service. The university’s Party committee and administration has been united in leading the faculty, students and staff to play a leading role in the development of higher education in Guizhou. The Education Working Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Department of Education will, as always, care for and support the development of Guizhou University. Zou Lianke hoped that the team led by Academician Song Bao’an can make even greater achievements and Guizhou University can accomplish new development goals and leap forward during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.

Academician Song expressed his heartfelt thanks to Zou Lianke and his delegation for their greetings, and said that he would redouble his efforts to make new achievements in scientific research and make new contributions.

On behalf of the University Party Committee, Li Jianjun expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Education Working Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Party Leadership Group of the provincial Department of Education and the provincial Department of Education for their constant care and support to Guizhou University. Li Jianjun said that Guizhou University will continue to work hard to turn its hopes into reality and contribute wisdom and strength to promoting the high-quality development of education in Guizhou.
