Recently, the All-China Women's Federation announced the list of the 2022 National “March 8th Red Flag Pacemaker”, National “March 8th Red Flag Bearer”, and National “March 8th Red Flag Group”. GZU professor, Hong Yun, director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and Dean of the North Alabama International College of Engineering and Technology of GZU, was awarded the honorary title of National “March 8th Red Flag Bearer”in 2022, being the only one in the education system of Guizhou Province to receive the honor in this list.

The selection is to commend the advanced, to set examples, and to inspire women to listen to the Party, to follow the Party in the new journey, and devote themselves to the great practice of Chinese path to modernization with pride and enthusiasm. The selection was carried out by the All-China Women's Federation, and a total of 10 people were awarded the title of National “March 8th Red Flag Pacemaker” and 298 people National “March 8th Red Flag Bearer”.
