Recently, Guizhou Provincial Department of Education issued commendations of “advanced groups” and “advanced individuals” for school health in Guizhou Province in 2019-2022. Hospital of GZU won the title of “advanced group” and Zhang Zongkui, a member of the Party Committee of GZU, “advanced individual”.

Since 2019, schools and school health workers in Guizhou Province have studied and implemented in depth the important remarks of General Secretary Xi Jinping on education and health as well as the spirit of the National Education Conference. They have made remarkable achievements in disease prevention and control, food hygiene, health education, emergency response and improvement of conditions. In order to praise the advanced, a total of 103 groups and 176 people in Guizhou Province were given commendations.
