On the occasion of celebrating the 102nd Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC onJune 30th, Guizhou University held a commendation conference to honor its outstanding Party members, exemplary Party workers, and advanced community-level Party organizations, as well as Party members with five decades of Party membership. Luo Changjiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of GZU presided over the event. Leaders of the university, the commended groups and individuals, and leaders from Party organizations at every level attended the conference.

The conference began with the solemn national anthem. Li Jianjun, Secretary of the Party Committee of GZU, led all Party members in reciting the Party admission oath.

Song Bao’an, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of GZU read out the commendation decision. Certificates and medals were presented to awardees by Song and other leaders of the university.

“During the 50 years since joining the Party, I deeply recognize that only under the leadership of the CPC can China’s revolution and construction succeed”, said Chen Longyuan, a recipient of the 50-year Party membership memorial medal. As an elderly Party member, Chen expressed his unwavering loyalty to the Party and vowed to continue to carry forward the Party’s fine traditions and excellent work ethics.

Li Jianjun extended his respect and congratulations to the Party members who were honored. Li stated that the Party has united and led the Chinese people in working tirelessly to achieve national independence and the liberation of the people and then to make our country prosperous and bring happiness to the people. In particular, since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered to a new era. Li sincerely hoped that everyone in the university continues to implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s important speeches delivered at Guizhou University. He encouraged all to make new contributions for the practice of promoting Chinese modernization in Guizhou.
