On June 21, Guizhou University (GZU) hosted the final of the “Youth Take Flight, Beauty Within Reach” Aviation Campus Flight Experience Officer Recruitment Competition at Xishan Theater. Co-organized by Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry Group Company Limited (GCAIG), Tongcheng Network Technology Company Limited, and the Communist Youth League Committee of Guizhou University, the event attracted esteemed guests including Li Shijiong, Party Secretary and Chairman of GCAIG; Zhang Peng, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager of the company; Xia Fei, General Manager Assistant of GCAIG and Party Secretary and Chairman of Guizhou Regional Airport Management Company; Zhang Jie, Deputy Secretary of the CPC GZU Committee; and Liu Kui, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Guizhou University.
The competition commenced with a vibrant traditional dance performance, "Water Maiden," presented by the College of Music from Guizhou University. Twelve finalists demonstrated their expertise in tourism and aviation through simulated recommendations, Q&A sessions with judges, and talent displays. They offered insights into Guizhou travel routes, ticket booking strategies, and personal travel anecdotes, showcasing distinctive perspectives and engaging performances that captivated the audience.
After fierce competition, the event concluded with the selection of one All-Round Flight Experience Officer, one Best Flight Experience Officer, one Creative Flight Experience Officer, and nine Most Promising and three Most Popular Flight Experience Officers.
This initiative aimed to bolster the influence of GCAIG among educated youth, foster Guizhou's cultural tourism and talent exchange, enrich GCAIG’s tourism offerings, and select a group of young talents with innovation and practical skills. The competition garnered significant interest from GZU students, with over 1,700 participants signing up, and 12 finalists selected through rigorous screening and interviews.
